Some of our ladies are keeping very busy cutting out and sewing period costumes for the celebaration.  We are planning on participating in the Holiday Parade in costume on November 10th so we need all the help we can get!

We will be wearing the costumes during some of the events next year as well.

The planning committee has been meeting every month to brainstorm with ideas for making this a special celebration with something happening every month throughout the year.

All are invited!

Our hym sing made the front page of the Carthage Tribune!

We all had a wonderful time singing all the hymns on our list!  We also had 3 people who read stories behind 3 of the hymns. These stories were compiled by Eleanor Kotary and she did a really great job.  We will be singing more of these hyms as the year goes on.

The next big event will be the homecoming weekend on April 26-27. We will be having a banquet and a program on the history of the area and the church.

We are working on making bonnets and aprons to be worn several times during our anniversary celebration starting with the holiday parade on Nov 10th. Be watching for pictures of this event.
